Ben Boyd National Park

The northern and western boundaries of Holiday Hub are bordered by the Ben Boyd National Park, a splendid eco area with two, very rare dunal lakes. Walks abound from the park and our Reception team will happily explain the options for you.

Pambula

Pambula has the best of both worlds; a majestic river and enticing beach as well as a tranquil lake and river system. We are particularly fortunate as our park locations shares boundaries with a spectacular surfing and swimming beach, a National Park and is only 1km from the beautiful Pambula River mouth.

River Mouth

The Jiguma Track is a picturesque walk from the southern end of Pambula Beach, which winds itself along the cliff-top to Pambula River mouth. This walk offers spectacular views of the beaches, bay and headlands from several vantage points along the way.

Merimbula

Perhaps the best known of the seaside towns on the Sapphire Coast, Merimbula attracts thousands of holiday makers each year. People are drawn to the magnificent lake and mountain scenery which are set off by the white beaches that are nestled between the azure and turquoise blue lakes and the unspoilt natural bushland.

Merimbula's Top Lake

This is a lovely secluded area which offers a 2km long boardwalk that winds its way along the north side of the lake, between Merimbula Bridge an a boat hire/cafe venue. This walk has seats and interpretive signage en route and takes in mangrove and bushland areas.

Rotary Walk Merimbula

This walk starts at Rotary Park above Spencer Park in Merimbula. The track is approximately 2km long and meanders through tall stands of eucalyptus, dense luch rainforest and thick growths of tea-tree.

Eden Gateway Centre

The displays at the centre offer a guided walk through the area, which takes you in and around Eden and the other towns of the Sapphire Coast, Bega Valley and surrounding rural and coastal areas.

Eden Killer Whale Museum

Eden Killer Whale Museum was established in 1931 and is one of the oldest museums in NSW.  It houses an extensive array of whaling and maritime artefacts, as well as documents and displays the whaling, maritime and local history of Eden and surrounding areas. The museum also houses the full skeleton of “Old Tom” the famous Killer Whale, or Orca, and the only full skeletal exhibit of a Killer Whale in the southern hemisphere.

Eden Heritage Walking Tour

This is a self-guided easy walk of the historical building and sights in the Eden CBD. A pamphlet is available with information on sites and buildings from the Eden Gateway Information Centre.

Seamen's Memorial Wall

This unique wall has been built of plaque’s bearing the names of seafarers, fishermen and others who, through unanticipated tragedy, have been lost at sea out of Eden, and whose bodies were never recovered.

Cafe

PB's café, the resort's licensed restaurant, is just steps away from your site. Enjoy all day dining inside or alfresco over viewing the resort grounds. Try the daily specials with a glass of wine or drop in during the day for a cappuccino and cake. PB's Store offers a wide range of produce and a big range of takeaway food.
